Rick has been an active community leader and university educator for almost two decades. He has more than 35 years of experience as a general contractor and project manager including international projects in both building and heavy civil construction.
As a tenured professor at the University of Florida, he was the director for the Center for Construction Safety and Loss Control. The center has been recognized internationally for research and development of safety programs, risk analysis, and educational programs for construction safety. Currently, Rick holds the position of Chair of the Built Environment at Indiana State University's College of Technology.
Rick has been involved in every aspect of the construction business and applies his expert experience to guide the work of Shiloh Consultants to serve its clients with the full potential of careful preparation, critical analysis, and systematic methodology.
Brent is a third generation builder, a Construction Management professional with experience in residential, high-rise, condominium, hospitality, health care/laboratory, retail, commercial and theme park construction. Brent started in the industry as a laborer and has propelled himself to Carpenter, Project Engineer, Estimator, Superintendent and Project Manager. He has been the Project Manager on such notable multi-million dollar projects as the Trump Royale Sunny Isles Beach, Johns Hopkins University David H. Koch Cancer Research Building, Children's National Medical Center Renovations in Washington DC, the SLS South Beach Hotel and the Custom Units at the St. Regis Bal Harbour.
Brent has extensive knowledge and experience with construction industry software programs including Oracle P6 and Primavera P3, e-Builder, Constructware, Expedition, Prolog, Timberline, and JD Edwards, and is a known problem solver. Above and beyond building structures, he is a proven relationship builder with owners, architects/engineers, subcontractors and industry professionals.
Richard has over 30 years of experience in all phases of design, engineering and project management including crane and lifting engineering, commercial construction, real estate, resorts and theme parks, infrastructure and roads and highways, both nationally and internationally.
He has extensive experience in directing multicultural project teams in French and Spanish, and has directed a $1 billion dollar budget for Walt Disney Imagineering with five multicultural project teams and 243 international general contractors.
As a Certified Crane Inspector, Mr. Girdley has been appointed to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Subcommittee on Personnel Lifting, writing international safety standards for using cranes to lift personnel.
Don is no stranger to Construction, having owned a high-end custom carpentry corporation for over 35 years. He has worked in various supervisory capacities in all phases of the industry, including Surveyor, Dispatcher, Trim Carpenter, Superintendent, and Construction Consultant. Additionally, Don's international experience as a Mandarin Chinese interpreter/translator, after studying at the Defense Language Institute, eventually transitioned into working for the U.S. Army Security Agency as a Cryptanalyst, securing Top Secret clearance. Don was in the US Military from 1966-1971 and is a Vietnam veteran.
Not only industry experienced, but also an excellent academic, he was honored Valedictorian before studying engineering at the University of Tennessee. Don earned a BS in Secondary Education from the University of Central Florida. He currently is earning a Masters in Construction Risk Management at Indiana State University. Don is married with 5 children.
Christina is a registered Professional Engineer in Arizona, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and Texas. Christina started her technical career as a draftsman over 30 years ago. She has 25 years of experience in project management, design, cost estimating and construction management of water, wastewater and water reclamation treatment facilities, booster pump stations, gravity sewers and force mains and water transmission mains. Piping systems include concrete, ductile iron, Hobas, fiberglass, stainless steel, black steel, PVC and CPVC. The materials handled include reuse water, potable water, wastewater, caustic, bleach, hydrochloric acid, brine, and sodium bisulfite.
Christina has coordinated with multiple governmental agencies to obtain construction permits and approval of construction permits and aquifer protection permits. Christina has managed multiple subconsultants, HVAC, electrical, and structural, to bring projects in on time and on budget. Her management experience has also included review and rejection or approval of contractors submittals and inspection and acceptance of installation.
Jason understands presentations. Digital graphics are tools of the trade for this artistic professional. An education in theatre design inspired a love of architecture, design, and designing to build. Jason has experience in hand drawing, 3-D rendering, CAD, web development, report layouts, and photography. He designed all visual collateral and managed production of the annual "Shaq's Mama Said, 'Knock You Out!'" event in Orlando, televised on ESPN.
He brings the perspective of the everyman to the table. His ability to transform complicated construction concepts into elegant and simplistic visuals, which tell the story in a way that words would only complicate, is his expertise. Jason is happily married with a new baby.
